Earlier this week, we featured one of our favorite local shops, Rinfret Home & Garden, a gorgeous store owned by designer Cindry Rinfret, that we are lucky enough to count as a partner and supplier on The Local Vault. Today, we’re highlighting another lustworthy store, whose wares we also sell on our site: Circa Antiques in Westport.

Circa Antiques has been owned and operated by local husband-and-wife team Natalie Dunagan and Didier Curvet in Westport for nearly 20 years, though neither is originally from the area. Natalie originally hails from Texas, while Didier counts Lyon, France as his hometown, which is perhaps what sets the store apart from any others in the area. The pair started the shop out of pure passion – Natalie inherited a love of antiques from her mother, who often accompanied her on sourcing trips to Belgium and France.

One step inside the shop proves that that passion is still there, and in full force — it’s perfectly curated with finds from around the world that are truly one-of-a-kind. Though the store’s inventory is still strongly rooted in Europeans antiques, the shop also sells custom pieces, and is particularly popular for its lighting collection.
