When I see a beautifully shaped piece at a great price, all I can think about is its potential and how great it would look in a new fabric. Sometimes our clients will say that reupholstering isn’t worth it. Blasphemy. Below are some real beauties that are so well-priced that reupholstering is just not a big deal.
This English mahogany chair (available now for $350!) is gorgeous and can I tell you, there are a pair of them for sale on another site (which shall go unnamed) for $4,000. No that’s not a typo. This chair takes itself rather seriously so I can just imagine it reupholstered…
In something like this… maybe even refinish the wood in a black lacquer. Just sayin’.
Meanwhile, I wish I needed dining chairs because I would totally snatch up these lovelies ($450 for the set of 6)…
And make them look something like this for my dining room.
Love the soothing gray tones of this chair but I must say – the chairs we’re selling on our site are much more interesting and the lines are unique. Ours have a more Mad Men retro vibe and you won’t see them in anyone else’s dining room.
So fun. The power of spray paint.
And finally, these little nuggets… a pair of Pagoda style benches just listed on TLV for $125…
Begging to slip into something more comfortable…
Btw these benches are super expensive out there. At $125 for TWO on TLV, I don’t think these will last long.
Stay tuned for more…
