Set of 6 French Louis XV Revival style caned back side chairs with an arched crestrail carved with shell and ruffled shoulders, over shaped rectangular caned back, channeled frame, with incised cross-hatching and carved foliate decoration, over shaped trapezoidal caned seats with molded serpentine front rail, shaped aprons carved with conforming decoration, on four cabriole legs with foliate-carved knees, scroll feet, and double-lyre stretchers. All with custom-made tapestry seat cushions. Circa: 1890.
