These Antique Charles X style sofas are in beautiful condition and made in France, circa 1830. Each sofa has a padded back with scroll cresting and mahogany inlaid top rail. Downswept arms with scrolled ends flanking a bowed seat on sabre legs. The frames are made with Amboyna, which is a very rare burl wood.

Amboyna is the most expensive and sought after of all burl varieties, and has been used to make a wide range of beautiful antique furniture for centuries.
