The leaves may be almost gone from the trees, but inside, things are greener than ever. We’re talking about the popularity of botanical-inspired prints in interior design this year. From the bold, large-scale banana leaf prints inspired by the Beverly Hills Hotel, to more delicate motifs like grasses and ferns, inside it’s all about the outdoors this year.
The look isn’t just for the more verdant months of the year, either. Pops of green make a beautiful addition to a space all year round, adding a natural, fresh quality all year round. Though you can find plenty of ways to incorporate the botanical trend into your home, our favorite way has to be through wall art, especially when multiple prints are grouped together gallery-wall style.
Take a peek at a few of the photos below and tell us you don’t agree!
Here, blogger Emily A. Clark created a leafy-green gallery wall, which perfectly offsets the graphic black and white striped wall, no?
But, we also love how Jennifer Griffin of Dimples & Tangles took an earthier approach, mixing botanical images with beautiful butterfly photos, and mounting them on a camel-colored wall.
Last but certainly not least, an eclectic take on the botanical style from Better Homes & Gardens. The gallery wall mixes prints in different sizes and styles, but still feels consistent thanks to the singular subject matter.
Convinced you need to give it a try? Below are a few of the beautiful botanical prints we have available at The Local Vault.
