Look We Love: Winter White Rooms

We have mixed feelings about snow. Sure, it’s fun in the beginning, when it coats everything in a pretty blanket of white…but the allure wears off pretty quickly when the salt ruins our favorite shoes or school gets cancelled for the third day in a row.

However, it’s a new year and we’re committed to thinking positive: What we DO love about snow is the inspiration it gives us for decorating–all white everything has a clean, crisp, chic appeal that’s hard to beat with any other color scheme (hence the reason snow can be charming for a little while, at least). If you also prefer your winter whites on the inside, check out the gorgeous inspiration rooms, below, then shop the look with our favorite white furniture and decor picks.

1. This bedroom proves that white walls don’t have to feel sterile or boring, and it’s a look that’s currently a major up-and-coming trend: Benjamin Moore named a crisp, neutral white shade, Simply White, its 2016 Paint Color of the Year.

2. We love how wood tones instantly warm up cream-colored shades, seen in this rustic-chic living room.

4. Isn’t this the coziest winter space? The varied shades of white and neutrals give this room a comfortable, welcoming feel.
