Design Envy: Mark Bagdley and James Mischka’s Farmhouse

As much as we love the quiet countryside, we’ve never really thought of ourselves farm girls, per se. But after stumbling upon photos of fashion design duo Mark Bagdley and James Mischka’s Lexington, Kentucky farmstead on ElleDecor.com recently, we’re reconsidering. The sprawling estate, dubbed Moonstone Farm is equal parts rustic charm and curated chic, with tailored masculine details that lend just the right amount of cool factor that you’d expect from a fashion power couple. Did we mention they have horses? It’s heaven.

Take a look for yourself, then shop TLV selections to help you recreate the look at home.

We love how the book collection adds the perfect pop of color to the all white kitchen.

And the fashion-forward brass hardware doesn’t hurt, either.

The bedroom is by far our favorite room in the house: aren’t those monogrammed pillows to die for?

Drama, drama, drama in the library, which doubles as an intimate entertaining space:

Last but not least, we love how the simplicity of the dining room furniture is perfectly balanced with the ornate light fixtures.

Isn’t the space stunning? Shop the look to recreate it at home with a few of our favorite picks from TLV.
